Starting point – Sofia Covered Market – a wonderful example of urban architecture of the end of 19th and the beginning of 20th century; visit to the second biggest Synagogue in Europe, one of the multiple mineral springs in Sofia and Sofia Mosque, constructed in 16th century by Sinan, the most famous architect of the Ottoman Empire. Than a visit to Sveta Petka Samardjiyska Church and the unique square of Sveta Nedelya – a place where operating temples of the four most widespread religions coexist peacefully. The walk leads to Roman ruins and after that like a time machine moves the guests into the end of 19th century, when the majority of the buildings in Bulgarian capital’s center had been constructed. And than again brings one deep into the past to the Early Christian Basilica of saint Sofia, which has given the nowadays name of the city and makes him emerge into 20th century to visit Saint Alexander Nevski Cathedral, connected to both medieval history of Bulgaria and restoration of Bulgarian State in late 19th century.
